This man used to shrug off all his responsibilities onto others and expected his subordinates to work on his behalf while he was enjoying watching Instagram reels and Tik-Tok videos relaxing on his desk. But without even understanding the criticality of the tasks and being unable to set expectations right, he blindly used to delegate. But there was one thing that he did not understand- what he was doing was not 'delegation' at all, it was just the dumping of his responsibilities without thinking of the consequences that these actions could have brought. He was extremely loud in his way of communication but was equally unclear about passing the right kind of message for completing the task. When you go to him with some doubts related to your task, he is clueless and used to ask numerous other questions about not being able to solve it on your own. As a part of deadline, he would say, I need this in 1 hour without understanding the criticality of that task or how much time it would originally take. This used to piss the people who were working with him off and created an atmosphere of war where at one point no-one wanted to work for him or with him. His team was mentally drained and they started to avoid him after a point of time.
